I was a daily listener to the Dave Ramsey Radio Show about a year ago. It was on a Seattle local Christian AM station called KCIS. About 6 months ago, I lost the available time to listen to Dave on the radio, but continued to practice his teachings. Now that time has been freed during the time slot Dave was on KCIS, I find out that station no longer carries his show. I'm not quite sure why. I did a little Google searching and found that AM 770 KTTH "The Truth" picked him up, but it is on tape delay Monday - Friday 10:00pm-1:00am. I am a night owl in most realities, I can't stay up to listen at this time because I have work early the following morning. Oh well. The podcast will have to work for now.

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University Home Study Kit[*].

I know it's a little expensive, but after listening to his radio show here locally in the Seattle area on AM 630 KCIS[*] and reading a couple of his little books at the library, I have come to a determination that this guy actually has his head on straight.

My brother got me into listening to Clark Howard[*] a while back, and I have been scratching and scraping to make ends meet. Listening to Clark Howard's daily podcast while at work has given me LOTS of fantastic financial and personal legal leads of information.

I never thought in million years that I would really hit the rock bottom financially where I am now. I want to better myself and make life happen. I then want to teach everyone around me how I got to the low where I am, and how I am taking 'baby steps,' as Dave Ramsey would say, to turning my financial life around.

I know this sounds like a big advertisement for these two gentlemen, but I wouldn't talk about them if I didn't believe the words they speak. I have always been the skeptical one, and these two are people I don't find skeptical or sly in any way.
